30 April 2008:  Naoisha is out of remission.  We have decided not to do the rescue chemotherapy for him.  He is taking prednisone and antibiotics for now.  We know our time left with him is short and we will make sure he is comfortable during his spirit of transition.

Oct. 2007:  Naoisha at present time is fighting lymphosarcoma.  He was diagnosed on Sept.25, 2007 and the oncologist at the U of MN saw him on Oct. 2nd.  He started his chemotherapy treatment while at the U of MN.  Weekly he receives a different chemo drug and this will continue for 16 weeks.
If miracles can happen we hope one does for this special boy.

He was winners dog at the 2000 Samoyed Club of Minneapolis Specialty (4 pt. major), Best of Winners at Mason City, IA  April 2000, Winners Dog at Granite City Kennel Club show in Dec. 2000 and he took back to back majors at Minnesota River Kennel Club shows Nov 2001.  At the few shows he has competed he has taken the Open class and has received Reserved Dog.  Naoisha will only be back in the ring for a few select shows.  He is a sled dog first.

Naoisha  (NEE-sha)
Naoisha is one of our main wheel dogs, plus will run lead if needed.  He did a wonderful job this past winter working in harness with the team and also for Bob skijoring.  He is a very independent young male but yet wants your acceptance.  He does have a stubborn streak, which makes it challenging to work with him.  He has been in the conformation ring this spring and is trying to finish his championship.  He is most content though when in harness--he is a very smooth mover, and hard worker.
